Musical - IN THE HEIGHTS tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. IN THE HEIGHTS is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.
Please bring your print out or a screen image on your smart phone to the box office to exchange for admission tickets. If you have Park Tix Pak, or Cast comps, or two for ones or any other type of coupon please bring those as well. If you have any ADA related equipment or personal needs like wheelchair placement, walkers, difficulty hearing or with vision please notify our office ahead of time so we can better prepare seating arrangements. There is a grassy area surrounding the audience area. Guests may choose to use that area for seating. Please do not bring in chairs with more than a 2ft tall back. No glass is allowed in the theater. There is an area just outside the amphitheater that can be used for picnics. The box office typically opens 45 minutes before curtain and the gates open 1/2 hour before curtain.
