Drama - At the onset of a parent/teacher conference, a grieving mother and an emotionally overwhelmed primary school teacher simmer with anger and confusion over the suspension of the mother's son, Gidion. As his story slowly unravels, issues of freedom of expression, the failure of the school system, bullying and personal responsibility collide as each woman a reveals a piece of the story the other must hear to come to terms with unbearable feelings of culpability. As they challenge each other, they earn our compassion and a few much-needed laughs while untangling the questions bound in Gidion's Knot.
